Saturday Morning
9:30 to 10:15 AM (or by appointment)
The Sacrament of Reconciliation acknowledges that through the gift of free will, baptized Catholics can fall into sin. Reconciliation allows us to repair our relationship with God and seek His forgiveness. The sacrament includes penance, the performance of a charitable act or sacrifice as a meaningful sign of reconciliation.
FIRST RECONCILIATION
First Reconciliation is offered to children in the second grade and older. In addition to attendance at our Family Based Religious Education process, these children will prepare for the Sacrament of First Reconciliation with materials to be completed at home, as well as by attending Sacramental Preparation Liturgies and a Reconciliation Workshop with parents. The Sacrament is celebrated on a Saturday morning in late fall. As per diocesan directives, a child must receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation before receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Eucharist.
